Windows MQTT Broker – support for windows 10, 8 & 7

Today we are happy to announce the availability of MQTT Broker for Windows. A few weeks back we released the MQTT Broker to support Linux and Mac. Windows MQTT Broker is the central server for the the MQTT communication that happens in the Internet of things. We built  Broker as per the MQTT V 3.1 standard. You can connect any MQTT Standard client. We have listed a few key features that we support on the MQTT broker windows version

MQTT Broker Windows support

The complete stack of the MQTT Broker has been built on C and Python that is compatible with the windows server and the windows desktop application. We will be happy to compile the build for the windows micro version. The versions supported are Windows 7, Windows 8, 8.1 & Windows 10 & Windows Server 2012 & 2016.

MQTT standard

We have complete support for all the MQTT Standards to ensure that the MQTT Broker works seamlessly with all MQTT clients. As of now, MQTT version 3.1 and 3.1.1 is supported. We are working on the MQTT 5.

Data storage

One of the major need for any IoT / IIoT Implementation is the data storage. MQTT Broker allows store data in SQLite, MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server. The option of storage can be configured by simple configuration changes. Beyond the relational storage of data, we also support BIG Data engine storage for Elastic Search and more.  For a long term data aggregation, we would recommend a combination of Relational and BIG Data Engines.

Security and Data Encryption

You can easily enable encrypted data transfer for enhanced Data security with all standard SSL/TLS certificate. Beyond SSL/TLS you can connect edge devices having unique auth keys and tokens using device authentication methods.

Extendability

Custom Extension to integrate pay load to any application to push data to the Elastic search, MongoDB and Redis for better data visualisation and powerful analysis. Customisation REST API will help you to push your MQTT data to your web application. Also, MQTTRoute comes with 4 custom plugins such as Custom UI server, Custom Data Store, Custom Scheduler, Custom Authentication which makes it more extendable to build faster IoT Applications.
